Aston Rose advises Rockhold Group on purchase of 5 Station Road, Leatherhead

Aston Rose introduced the off-market office redevelopment opportunity at Hazeldean House, 5 Station Road, Leatherhead to Rockhold Group, who recently completed the purchase at £1.85m. The acquisition value of the property was supported by the underlying permitted development GDV of the existing office building (B1), together with potential further new build development. Duncan Wilson, Head of Development at Aston Rose said: “In the current market, which remains increasingly competitive, and where real value-add development opportunities are proving hard to come by, we were pleased to be able to introduce this property to Rockhold Group.” Jonathan Wilkins, Director of Rockhold Group, commented: “Rockhold is looking to acquire and deliver residential/mixed-used developments throughout London and the Home Counties. The shortage of land and building with real development value is a huge challenge so Aston Rose’s ability to unearth this off-market opportunity with development potential was key. The advice provided by Aston Rose throughout the transaction was first class and both our teams worked together seamlessly to meet the tight deadlines required to secure the asset.”
