Aston Rose helps children in Sri Lanka

Aston Rose recently made a donation to a small charity undertaking work in Sri Lanka called, ’Healing Hands to Matara’. This charity works for the progress and welfare of women and children through programmes which offer social welfare, education, livelihood and support. The charity was initially set up in response to the tragedy and aftermath of the tsunami. Today, help continues with mainly orphaned and one-parent children with various types of support to ensure they are able to go to school. The donation made by Aston Rose, together with UK-based Team Sri Lanka 2008, bought the vehicle shown which means children from remoter parts of the tea plantation are now able to attend school.
