Aston Rose acts on £7.06m sale of Cygnet Park, Peterborough

Aston Rose has completed on the £7.06m sale of Cygnet Park in Peterborough on behalf of Harmsworth Pension Funds Trustees Ltd and Helix Property Advisors. The site comprises four modern standalone restaurant units let to: Bella Italia, Harvester, Frankie & Benny’s and Chiquito, in the popular and rapidly expanding retailing and leisurelocation of Hampton. The asset is fully let and provides rental income of just under half a million pounds per annum. The deal reflected an impressive net initial yield of 5.31%. The purchaser was Mayfair Capital Property Unit Trust (MCPUT). Ken Morgan, Director of Investment at Aston Rose said: “We are delighted to have acted on behalf of Harmsworth and Helix during the process of this sale. The property offeredlong term, secure income with minimum fixed RPI uplifts, the combination of which is proving very popular across a range of investors in the current market.” The purchaser was represented by Edgerley Simpson Howe.
