Fifield Glyn Chartered Surveyors acquires Aston Rose Residential Block Management Portfolio

Fifield Glyn Chartered Surveyors has acquired a Residential Block Management Portfolio from Aston Rose. The portfolio, comprising 45 properties located in and around Greater London, totals just under 1,000 units. Akin Akinosi FRICS moves across to Fifield Glyn where he takes up the role of Head of Residential Management. In addition, property managers Ajay Bada, Agnese Erina and Grant Staples, will be ensuring continuity of service to their individual property portfolios by also joining the team at Fifield Glyn. Aston Rose Managing Director, John Williams, said: “At the end of 2016 we decided to focus our offering in Residential Block Management on instructions located in the heart of Central London, with the aim of moving towards specialising in mixed-use properties. Fifield Glyn presented this opportunity and, as a practice with whom we have had a connection for some time, we were assured by the knowledge our team and the portfolio were moving to a professional and growing business. The retained Central London Residential Block Portfolio will continue to be managed by Eva Chan MRICS and Jon Thorp.” Akin Akinosi FRICS commented: “I am very much looking forward to the challenge of running a larger team of residential property managers with Fifield Glyn and to assist with the expansion of the residential portfolio under management. I am delighted my existing colleagues are joining me on this journey of growth and learning.” John Fifield, Chairman of Fifield Glyn Chartered Surveyors, said: “We are delighted to have this opportunity to expand our residential management to over 2,000 properties and at the same time to recruit a very experienced team from Aston Rose. This is very much part of our plan to expand our residential management throughout London.”
