MIPIM gets underway . . .

Delays, blizzards, a sprint across Paris and then the TGV down to Cannes – welcome to MIPIM week! Yes, Ken Morgan and John Williams had an interesting journey down to Cannes on Monday, but having drank wine to match every region the TGV passed through from Paris, they arrived on a cold and wet Cote d’Azure in very high spirits, together with their fellow MIPIM passengers on the ’Cannes Cannes Express’. Six hours networking on the train – not a bad start. Monday evening they attended the Wardell Armstrong pre-MIPIM drinks reception and then a full-on day first day ensued yesterday with meetings, lunches, afternoon cocktails and then dinner in the evening. The biggest problem was how to juggle a dinner AND getting to see Gloria Gaynor perform at the CEEQA party at the same time! Another busy day lies ahead, with two more team members – Tim Richards and James Porter – joining the guys today. Bon journee!
